Jordan Kelly Shoots 72, Fredonia Claims 3-Man Title

CHAUTAUQUA — Jordan Kelly shot even-par 72 to win the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 3-Man Tournament on Thursday at Chautauqua Golf Club’s Lake Course.

The Hillbillies’ Ryan Kelly shot a 77 for second place while Jamestown’s Tyler Salvaggio and Chase Kolstee tied for third with 78s. Jamestown’s Evan Maloney was fifth with an 83 and Fredonia’s Braiden Truby was sixth with an 84.

Fredonia, which finished 8-0 in league play during the regular season, won the three-man tournament with a total of 233.

Jamestown, which finished second during the regular season with a 6-2 mark, took second Thursday with a team total of 239.

Olean, third during the regular season at 4-4, also finished third Thursday with a 275. Falconer, which went 0-8 during the regular season, finished fourth Thursday with a 303, and Southwestern, which went 2-6 during the season, took fifth Thursday with a 312.

First-Team league all-stars, based on scoring average, were Ryan Kelly (35.5), Maloney (36.71), Salvaggio (39.43), Jordan Kelly (39.75), Fredonia’s Grant Abbey (39.83) and Kolstee (41.29).

Second-Team league all-stars were Fredonia’s Kaison Malkowski (41.71), Truby (41.88), Fredonia’s Nico Fadale (42.8), Olean’s Cam Bartman (43.6), Falconer’s Kale Livengood (44.18) and Southwestern’s Ejuah Sarvaiya (45.88).

Jamestown and Southwestern shared the Team Sportsmanship Award and Salvaggio was the Individual Sportsmanship Award winner.
