Jamestown High School’s Red & Green Basketball Camps will be held Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 at Jefferson Middle School.

The Little Ballers Camp for boys and girls entering grades 1-4 will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. each day. The cost is $75 and includes a T-shirt if registered by June 12.

This camp is an introduction to basketball skills and concepts. Youngsters will be taught the rules of the game and how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, pivot and play defense in a fun atmosphere. Beginning offensive and defensive team play will also be taught. Camp will be broken down into age/skill levels while utilizing junior basketballs and lowered hoops.

Offensive Skills camp for boys entering grades 5-8 will be held at the same time. The cost is also $75 and includes a T-shirt if registered by June 12.

This camp will focus on offensive fundamentals, including drill work and competitive situations. The camp will concentrate on shooting, finishing, ball handling, footwork and passing. Camp will be broken down by grade/ability level.

For families with multiple attendees, cost is $75 for the first child and $60 apiece for each additional child. Both camps are open to students from all districts.
