DUNKIRK -- The Fredonia boys and girls track and field teams earned a pair of victories over rival Dunkirk in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association action on Tuesday.
Nathan Keefe and Trenton Krenzer were both triple-winners for the Hillbillies en route to a 95-46 victory. Keefe claimed the 110-meter hurdles (16.2), the 400 hurdles (1:10.9) and the 200 (24.), while Krenzer won the 1,600 (5:15), the 800 (2:14.1) and the 3,200 (13:14).
Dunkirk had five different individual winners and claimed 4 of the 6 field events.
The Fredonia girls victory was more dominant at 98-39 over their rivals.
Mariella Russo claimed three events winning the 100 hurdles (20.2), 400 hurdles (1:20.9) and the high jump (4-8), while Jordan Morris won both shot put (28-9.5) and the discus (76-5).
Dunkirk's Chianti Lopez won both the 100 (12.9) and the 200 (27.0).

SILVER CREEK/FORESTVILLE GIRLS WIN, BOYS FALL TO BEARS
SILVER CREEK -- Chymerah Genovese was a triple-winner as the Silver Creek/Forestville girls upended Frewsburg 77-55 in CCAA Division 3 action.
Genovese won the 100 (12.7), 200 (26.4) and 400 (1:02.7), while Leah Mays and Molly Shaw were double-winners. Mays won the 800 (2:41.1) and the 1,500 (5:43.9), while Shaw claimed the 100 hurdles (16.9) and high jump (4-6).
Strider Dahlin won a pair of events to lead Frewsburg past Silver Creek/Forestville boys 73-58.
Dahlin won the 800 (2:31.0) and the 1,600 (5:09.0) for the Bears.
Silver Creek/Forestville was led by double-winners Sam Bowers in the 100 (10.9) and 200 (22.6) and Nate Mays in the 110 hurdles (14.8) and triple jump (42-4).
