Salvaggio Earns Medalist At Bemus Point Golf Course
BEMUS POINT — Tyler Salvaggio continued his torrid start to the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association golf season.
The Jamestown junior fired a 3-under 33 on Wednesday to lead the Red & Green to a 40-15 victory over Maple Grove at Bemus Point Golf Course.
The win raised Jamestown’s record to 2-0. The Red Dragons fell to 0-1.
Also shooting in the 30s for the Red & Green were Chase Kolstee (36) and Evan Maloney (38).
Kristopher Donnelly, Matthew Chimera and Connor Schrantz all shot a 53 to pace Maple Grove.
