Ryan Kelly Shoots 5-Under For Fredonia At Shorewood CC

FREDONIA — Ryan Kelly shot a 5-under 31, possibly the lowest high school round ever at Shorewood Country Club, as Fredonia beat Olean 34-21 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys action Tuesday.

Grant Abbey added a 39 for the Hillbillies (2-0, 1-0).

Cam Bartman and Finn Caya shot 41s for the Huskies (3-1, 0-1).

In the girls match, Fredonia’s Sydnee Hoffman shot a 44 to lead the Hillbillies to a 32.5-22.5 win.

Molly Burnett led the Huskies with a 50.

RANDOLPH — Matt Beaver fired a 1-over 37 at Cardinal Hills Golf Course to lead Randolph to a 36-19 win over Cattaraugus-Little Valley and a 40-15 victory over Salamanca in Division 3 boys action.

Jaxon Morrison added a 39 for Randolph, which improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the league.

Owen Wright led the Timberwolves (3-2, 0-1) with a 38 while Adrian Taylor paced the Warriors (0-2, 0-1) with a 56.

Braylon Swanson led Chautauqua Lake/Westfield (2-0, 2-0) with a 42 while Karter Keppel led Dunkirk (0-2, 0-1) with a 49. The Cougars (1-2, 0-1) beat Dunkirk 30-25 in a nonleague match.
