OLEAN — Lachlan Tabacheck of Oswayo Valley won two individual events, including a meet and track record in the triple jump, to highlight the Olean Boosters/Olean Food Bar Track & Field Invitational on Saturday.

The senior posted a winning leap of 45 feet, 3.75 inches, breaking the old marks that had stood since 2004 and 2014, respectively. Tabacheck also claimed the long jump (20-5) and was named the Fay Cosens Most Outstanding Field Event performer.

Meanwhile, Nolan Wilczewski of Allegany-Limestone was chosen the Fay Cosens Most Outstanding Track Athlete after winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:33.8) and the 3,200 meters (10:34.42).

Pioneer was the boys team champion with 148.5 points, while Clymer/Sherman/Panama placed third with 77 points. The Wolfpack received first-place finishes from Sawyer Whitney in the 400-meter hurdles (1:00.66) and the 3,200-meter relay (9:05.39).

Jorge Rivera Jr. of Jamestown, meanwhile, was a double winner, claiming the discus (132-9) and the high jump (5-10).

In the girls portion of the invitational, Olean was the team champion with 162 points, followed by Clymer/Sherman/Panama with 124.

The Wolfpack’s Grace Cooke captured the 800 meters (2:37.77) and the 1,500 meters (5:18.17). C/S/P’s Finley Mitchell, meanwhile, won the 400-meter hurdles (1:10.31), while Frewsburg’s Brea Rubrecht was victorious in the discus (106-2).

Individual honors among the girls belonged to Alani Alston of Cardinal O’Hara, who was the recipient of the Fay Cosens Most Outstanding Track Athlete after winning the 100 meters (13.22) and the 200 meters (27.54); and Jabre-yah Brown of Olean, who claimed the long jump (14-.05), triple jump (30-10) and was a member of the 400-meter relay.

Cooke (in the 1,500 meters) and Alexander Smith of Pioneer (4:52.33 in the 1,600 meters) were the Bill Sprague Memorial honorees.
