JHS Tennis Team Wins Its Fifth Straight
LAKEWOOD — Jamestown swept doubles action and secured its fifth straight victory with a 4-1 decision over Allegany-Limestone in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action at the Lakewood YMCA.
Ethan Braun and Hayden Langford grinded out a win in first doubles, while both the pair of Samuel Mathis and Gavin Dietrich and Joseph Armeli and Geovany Brown were flawless in second and third doubles, respectively. Matthew Johnson added a win for the Red & Green (4-1, 4-1) in tiebreakers of second singles.
Etienne Marais won first singles for Allegany-Limestone.
