Falconer, Jamestown Suffer Losses In Myrtle Beach
LITTLE RIVER, S.C. — Falconer came up just short of a comeback in the South Atlantic Bank Invitational Wednesday, losing to Bay 8-6.
After falling back 6-0, Erik Stenstrom led the comeback for the Golden Falcons hitting 3 for 3 with an RBI double. Colton Rhinehart highlighted a 5-run third inning for Falconer with a 3 RBI double and Gavin Curtis knocked in an RBI single along with Stenstrom’s RBI double.
Stenstrom’s RBI single in the fourth tied the contest at 6-6, but Bay answered back in the bottom of the fifth as George Benko knocked in the game-winning run on a groundout.
The Golden Falcons are back in action today against CVHHA.

LITTLE RIVER, S.C. — Jamestown collected two more hits on Wednesday, but suffered a 17-0 five-inning defeat against Tallwood, Virginia at North Myrtle Beach High School in the South Atlantic Bank Invitational.
Julian Jackson, Karson Milne and Alaric Richards collected singles for Jamestown, while Ryan Engquist knocked a double. Jackson took the loss on the mound and Jordan Thompson finished the game on the mound.
Tallwood was led by Jay Ruberti hitting 3 for 4 and scoring four runs and Tristin Jordan-Knight hit a two-run home run.
Jamestown takes on Doddridge, West Virginia today at Conway High School.
