The sports community of Dunkirk is ready to live an exciting day of sport and companionship with the celebration of the Dunkirk Softball Tournament.

The inaugural event will begin Saturday, May 23 at 9:30 in the morning at the Prommenschenkel Stadium.

The tournament seeks to bring together players, families and softball fans in a competitive, but at the same time familiar, environment, highlighting the talent and passion for this sport that continues to grow in the region. The organizers expect great attendance from the community to support the participating teams and enjoy an action-packed day on the field.

The organizers also took the opportunity to express their gratitude to several people who have been instrumental in making this event possible. In particular, they extended a sincere thank you to Alexis Tofil for his availability during the planning of the tournament.

Likewise, the dedication and commitment of the leaders Wilfredo Garcia, Jomar Gomez, Joseph Hernandez and Cristopher Vargas, who have worked hard to contribute to the development and organization of the tournament, was recognized.
