Falconer/Cassadaga Valley Boys Win; Southwestern Girls Prevail

Brody Hawkins, Max Parmentier and Anson Miller all recorded two individual wins to spark Falconer/Cassadaga Valley to an 85-56 victory over Southwestern at Sirianni Athletic Complex on Tuesday.
Hawkins won the 100 meters (12.3) and the 400 meters (56.2), Parmentier was victorious in the high jump (5-10) and the pole vault (10-6) and Miller crossed the finish like first in the 1,600 meters (5:28) and the 3,200 (11:57).
For the Trojans, Noah Brown doubled in the 110-meter high hurdles (18.4) and the 400-meter intermediate hurdles (1:04).
Behind three individual wins by Marlana Cresanti and two apiece by Mikayla Johnson, Lillian Weikel and M’Kenzie Zavala, Southwestern defeated Falconer/Cassadaga Valley 102.66-36.33.
Cresanti claimed the 100 meters (13.2), the 200 meters (28.3) and the 400 meters (1:03.1), while Johnson captured the shot (39 feet, 8 inches) and the discus (127-3), Weikel was victorious in the 1,500 meters (5:32.8) and the 3,000 meters (12:52.5), and Zavala won the 100-meter hurdles (17.3) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:13.9).

For the Golden Cougars, Skylar Norlander won the long jump (15-3) and the triple jump (33-10).

EAGLES, BILLIES SPLIT
MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton boys defeated Fredonia 74.5-61.5 on Tuesday night at Chautauqua Lake Central School.
Michael Horvath was a double winner for the Eagles, claiming the long jump (18-2) and the triple jump (37-9) as was Ian Kinderman, who captured the 100 meters (11.6) and 200 meters (24.2).
For the Hillbillies, Nathan Keefe was victorious in the 110-meter hurdles (15.3) and 400-meter hurdles (1:04.7) and Trenton Krenzer captured the 1,600 meters (5:05.8) and the 3,200 meters (12:09.7).
In the girls’ meet, the Hillbillies prevailed 71-61, led by Charis LaBarr, who was a triple winner.
LaBarr won the 100 meters (13.8), 200 meters (29.2) and 400 meters (1:05.5); Mariella Russo was victorious in the 400-meter hurdles (1:13.0) and the high jump (4-10); and Alyse Bugaj claimed the long jump (13-0.25) and the triple jump (31-4).
For Chautauqua Lake, Meredith Lendt doubled in the 1,500 meters (5:12.0) and the 3,000 meters (12:49).

Silver Creek/Forestville was led by double-winners Chymerah Genovese with the 100 and 400 meters at 12.8 seconds and 1:04.4, Molly Shaw won the 100 hurdles at 17.9 and the high jump at 4 feet and 10 inches and Ingrid Gibson claimed the shot put with a distance of 31-8 and discus at 100-8.

WILLIAMSVILLE — The Jamestown boys defeated Williamsville North 86-55 to move to 2-1 on the season. Beckett Lumia led the way for the Red & Green with his double-win performance in the 400-meter hurdles and the 200 meters, while Josh Newman was a double winner for Williamsville North in the shot and discus.
The girls did not fare so well as Williamsville North cruised to a 108-31 victory.
Leading the way for the Spartans were double-winners Chloe Gemmer, Mary Kate Dolan and Gia Bailey. Gemmer won the 400 and 400 hurdles at 1:04.5 and 1:13.0, Dolan claimed the 200 at 27.9 and the long jump at 15-8.5 and Bailey took the shot put at 29-0 and the discus with 67-7.
Jamestown’s lone victory came in the 3,200-meter relay.

RANDOLPH BOYS WIN, MG GIRLS TRIUMPH
ELLERY — Cooper Freeman was a triple-winner to lead the Randolph boys past Maple Grove 77.5-63.5.
Freeman won the 400 meters at 54.6, then took the long jump at 18-9.75 and the triple jump 36-4.5.
Maple Grove was led by double-winners Ty Kraft and Ethan Verbosky. Kraft claimed the 110 hurdles at 16.8 and the 400 hurdles at 59.9, while Verbosky won the 200 at 22.5 and the 1,600 in 4:57.5.
The Maple Grove girls avenged the boys with a narrow 73-67 victory.
Maple Grove was led by double-winners Sydney Simmons and Kylie Kress. Simmons won the 100 hurdles at 15.6 and the pole vault at 9-0, while Kress claimed the 100 and 200 at 12.7 and 27.1.
Gianna Bowles was a double-winner for Randolph taking the 400 hurdles at 1:15.4 and the high jump at 4-2.
