Blue Senior All-Star Girls Win, Red All-Star Boys Are Victorious At Dods Hall
The Chautauqua County Senior All-Star Games were held Wednesday at Fredonia State University’s Dods Hall. Blue beat Red 63-46, led by Most Valuable Player Carilene Sliwa of Forestville, who scored a game-high 21 points. Frewsburg’s Abery Harvey added 17 points in the win. Red was led by Panama’s Kiera Loberg with 16 points and Clymer’s Elli Bodamer with 12. Red won the boys game 107-82, led by Most Valuable Player Jacob Ferranto of Sherman, who scored a game-high 22 points. Jamestown’s Dominic Gonzalez added 21 points, the Red & Green’s Gavin Johnson scored 18 and teammate Elijah Farmer chipped in 14 for the winners. Fredonia’s RJ Koopman led the Blue team with 21 points, the Hillbillies’ Colin Luce scored 14 and Panama’s Michael Horton scored 10.
