Sherman Wins 18th Game
SHERMAN — A 33-19 second half and 20-of-23 shooting from the foul line sent Sherman past Frewsburg 61-38 in nonleague boys basketball Wednesday.
Cal Cook led the Wildcats (18-2) with 19 points and Jacob Ferranto added 18.
Sophomore Gavin Weaver led the Bears (9-11) with a career-high 15 points; Drake Beckstrom had 10 points, five rebounds, two steals and two assists; and Isaac Hultberg had seven steals.

RANDOLPH — Zach McDonnell scored 27 points, Nolan Hochworter added 20 and Hamburg connected on 19 of 20 free-throw attempts en route to a 70-59 nonleague victory over Randolph.
McDonnell had 9 points during a 22-15 third-quarter advantage during which the Bulldogs (13-7) nailed 11 of 12 from the charity stripe. Teammate Tanner Steverson chipped in 10 points.
For the Cardinals (15-4), Kevin McElwain drilled five 3-pointers on his way to 23 points and Syrai Johnson added 14.
