SHERMAN — Emmersen Crawford scored 14 points, grabbed eight rebounds and made four assists as the Sherman girls basketball team defeated Southwestern 53-36 in nonleague action on Tuesday.

Carlie Gable added another 13 points, six rebounds and five steals for Sherman (11-9), Baya Oehlbeck provided 13 points, three rebounds and two assists and Bria Palmatier collected six rebounds.

Southwestern (13-7) was led by Braya Beaver with 17 points.

WOLVERINES ROLL PAST FORESTVILLE

WESTFIELD — Nahlia Douglas recorded a double-double with 23 points, 10 blocks and six rebounds as Westfield upended Forestville 62-41 in nonleague play.

Mackenzie Schumaker provided another 19 points, four assists and eight steals for Westfield (15-5), Sophia Wolfe collected 10 rebounds and made five assists, Olivia Wolfe dished eight assists with four rebounds and Maddie Burgess hauled in seven rebounds.

Forestville (12-5) was led by Carilene Sliwa with 18 points.
