Eagles’ Gibbs Shines On Senior Night In Mayville
MAYVILLE — Brayden Gibbs hit four 3-pointers and scored 21 points as Chautauqua Lake defeated Ellicottville 65-57 in nonleague boys basketball action on Wednesday.
Asher Olson added another 16 points for the Eagles (8-10), while Trent Houser had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Nick Jacobson handed out five assists.
Ellicottville (11-7) was led by Blake Smith with 14 points, AJ Myers had 13 and Dominic Polino added 11.

CATTARAUGUS — A 42-37 win over Cassadaga Valley gave Cattaraugus-Little Valley its 14th win of the season, setting a regular-season record for the Timberwolves boys program.
Tucker Barrick led Cattaraugus-Little Valley (14-4) with 19 points, including four 3-pointers, while Nyquon Boswell and Branson Gabel each had 8.
Brody Hawkins led the Cougars (6-11) with 14 points and Cameron Katilus added 10.
