Wassink’s Double-Double Leads Clymer To 59-47 Win

CLYMER — Roman Wassink had 19 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocked shots to lead Clymer past Maple Grove 59-47 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys basketball Friday.

Elijah Mitchell had 13 points, five rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots; Blake Beckerink had 12 points and three assists; and Carson White had 11 points, six rebounds and two steals for the Pirates (7-4, 6-0).

Clymer led 20-8 after the first quarter and 53-32 after three quarters.

Liam Price led the Red Dragons (3-8, 2-4) with 15 points and Gabe Carlson had 12.
