Four Quakers Reach Double Figures In Win Over Jamestown
ORCHARD PARK — Caroline Brown led four girls in double figures as Orchard Park coasted past Jamestown 76-43 in Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 girls basketball Monday.
Ella Hernandez and Nina Culum had 13 points apiece while Maggie Gocella had 10 for the Quakers (9-0, 4-0), who led 27-10 after the first quarter. After an even second quarter, Orchard Park put the game away with a 15-4 third quarter.
Makena Pryce led the Red & Green (1-3, 0-3) with 8 points.

SLIWA POURS IN 30
FORESTVILLE — Carilene Sliwa scored 30 points, including all 15 of her team’s points in the second quarter, as Forestville beat Clymer 56-31 in nonleague girls basketball Monday.
The Hornets (2-2) led 12-10 after the first quarter before Sliwa outscored the Pirates 15-2 in the second quarter to give the hosts a 27-12 halftime advantage. Sliwa added 7 more points in an 11-9 third quarter as Forestville took a 17-point lead into the final quarter.
Ingrid Gibson had 12 points, nine rebounds and five steals; Elizabeth Case had 10 points and 11 rebounds; and Sliwa had seven steals for the Hornets.
Elli Bodamer led Clymer (2-3) with 9 points and Hannidy Goetzinger had nine rebounds.

Jada Edwards led five players in double figures with 20 points and also had four steals as Southwestern rolled to a 78-25 victory over Olean in a Division 1 game.
Gianna Sirianni added 17 points, seven assists and three steals; Braya Beaver chipped in 14 points; Marlana Cresanti collected 11 points, four assists, seven rebounds and 10 steals; and Charlotte Beaver had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Trojans (6-3, 4-0).
Ava Finch led the Huskies (2-5, 1-2) with 12 points.
Southwestern, which led 41-19 at halftime, limited Olean to six points after the break.
