Flyers Gymnastics Shines In West Seneca

WEST SENECA — Flyers Gymnastics recently opened its competition season at the Cocoa Cup hosted by Buffalo Turners.

The Xcel Platinum team and the Level 4 team both captured first-place team banners. The Level 6 squad finished in second place.

Finishing on the top spot of the podium was Level 4 Sloane Siggins. She placed first in the all-around 36.25, first on bars 9.3, second on beam 9.025 and first on floor 9.3.

Olivia Kehrli captured second place all-around 34.95 and first in vault 9.325. In the younger age group at Level 4, Anna Thompson captured third all-around 34.975 and second on floor 9.475. Brynn Butzer grabbed first on beam with an 8.975.

At Level 6, Kamille Garza captured first on bars 9.15 and first on beam 9.3. Evelyn Miller grabbed second on vault 9.125. For the Xcel Platinums, Madelyn Widen captured second place all-around 35.5 and second on bars 9.1.

Makenna Hart claimed first place on bars and third all-around. Cameron Case was first on vault 9.0 and Olivia Swanson was first on floor 9.5.

At Xcel Diamond, Anelia Pitts was second all-around 33.75, third on vault 8.4, first on bars 8.75, third on beam 7.7, and third on floor 8.9. Kennedy Lynn grabbed third all-around 33.275, second on vault 8.45, second on bars 7.3, second on beam 8.325, and second on floor 9.2.
