White, Wassink Lead Clymer Past Eagles
MAYVILLE — Roman Wassink scored 7 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter as Clymer put away Chautauqua Lake for a 52-46 nonleague boys basketball victory.
Carson White led the Pirates (2-0) with 19 points, including 7 during a 19-17 first quarter.
Wassink finished with 10 rebounds, Elijah Mitchell had six and White added five for Clymer.
Trent Houser led the Eagles (1-2) with 18 points to go along with nine rebounds while Asher Olson grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. Chautauqua Lake got within four points in the fourth quarter, but never closer.
