Ferranto Double-Double Lifts Sherman Past Silver Creek
SHERMAN — Jacob Ferranto provided a double-double with 23 points, 14 rebounds and two steals to send Sherman past Silver Creek 63-41 in nonleague boys basketball action on Saturday.
Cal Cook added another 10 points, three steals and two assists for the Wildcats (2-1), while Troy Chambers had seven boards and Kasen Goree made three steals.
Silver Creek was led by Taydence Stevens hitting five triples and finishing with 17 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block. Alan Hoelzle added 13 rebounds and a block, while Jay Buffalo-Cortes had three blocks for the Black Knights (1-5).
