BUD LIGHT MONDAY 5:45 LEAGUE
Mike Stevenson and Tim Bonner headlined the evening as Gren’s Growlers climbed towards the top of the standings. After holding off Cold as Ice (38-36) they dominated Junior Deputies (52-29).
Steve Cramer and Ed Cramer put Fruit of the Brooms back in the mix. They were victorious in a pair of photo finishes with TRCurlers (51-45) and The Rolling Stones (46-43).
Bob Rich and Tim Casey engineered the best outing of the season for Curling Hares. They defeated Drunken Sliders (48-40) and Shoeless Joe’s Pub (40-38) to get back to the .500 mark.
Emily Nelson and The Rolling Stones still remain in a first place tie after taking down Gemstones (57-48).
Chad Waddington and Shoeless Joe’s Pub are at the top with The Rolling Stones thanks to a (54-39) victory against Cold as Ice.
Nancy Welker and Kubota Krew held on for dear life with Jimmy Shimmey’s (39-38).
Nate Bloetz and TRCurlers stormed back in the late stages of the game versus Curling Cousins (38-32).
Gemstones picked up a quality win over Better Than Last Year (41-38) behind Mary Laud.
Jody Lehman gathered the unit together the next time out as Better Than Last Year rebounded versus Jimmy Shimmey’s (38-34).
Matt Coe and Junior Deputies topped Kubota Krew in a (51-44) shootout.
Jennifer Baudo and Drunken Sliders slid past Curling Cousins (38-33).
BUD LIGHT MONDAY 6:45 LEAGUE
Jaime Glatz and Honest Abe are in sole possession of first place heading into Week 5. They’re alone at the top after breezing by Rookies Mafia (38-23) and NAME (38-22).
Sherry Mattison and Pickle Pushers came out of nowhere. They used their league-best offense to write off War Vets (49-39) and Rock Slide (42-32).
NAME made some waves with a huge upset against Slice Mafia (28-23) with Brandon Watson leading the charge.
Nick Rein and Slice Mafia got it done the next time out with Curl Jam (26-23).
Tanya Anderson captained the defense for Rock Slide as they shut down Bottomland Bandits (36-23).
Carolyn Ruby and Frosty Curlers got the best of Team 33 (39-27).
Ryan Deppas and Curl Jam pulled off the second-half comeback against Rand Machine (33-30).
Dave Matteson and War Vets poured salt in the wounds to make it a tough night for Rand Machine (25-21).
John Siliano got the Team 33 offense rolling down the stretch to finish off Rookies Mafia (43-40).
RAVEN & RUNE TAVERN WEDNESDAY 5:30 LEAGUE
Mike Latone Jr. carried Head for the Mountains to a perfect evening. Although it wasn’t easy, they dug deep and fended off 12 Ounce Curls (36-31) and Stone Cold Maidens (34-31).
Michelle King and On the Rocks clocked out with two wins by surviving scares from Curl Jam (27-21) and J-1 Auto (35-34).
Jim Gustafson carried Golfers on Ice to wins over Stone Cold Maidens (46-42) and We’ve Got the Stones (43-37).
MARKSMEN had their best night of the season thanks to Mark and Kate Caswell. The dynamic duo took control against Legion of Broom (39-35) and We’ve Got the Stones (48-34).
Josh Johnson and Curl Jam squeaked by Legion of Broom (36-34).
Mike Wissman electrified 12 Ounce Curls towards the end to defeat J-1 Auto (40-30).
RAVEN & RUNE TAVERN WEDNESDAY 6:30 LEAGUE
Justin Swanson now has 12 oz. Curlers in control of first place. He piloted the way versus The Ice Men (35-31) and Curling Me Softly (35-19).
Kari and PJ Degnan controlled the ice for Stuart Tool & Die. After taking down Margarita Madness (35-23) they knocked off Curls Gone Wild in overtime (41-39).
Billy Anderson had his number called more than once for In the House. His solo campaign of great shooting led to victories versus Perfect Stones (29-27) and Rhodewel (48-39).
Glen Wilcox and Perfect Stones were on the right side of a (33-32) nail-biter with The Ice Men.
Mark Snow stepped up again for Curls Gone Wild to get by Rhodewel (41-38).
Chip Perkins and Margarita Madness handed Smokin Rocks a (33-32) loss.
Troy Eklum and Smokin Rocks put together a great team effort the next time out against The Brush Offs (33-32).
Val Sutton and Ice Ice Baby gained some much needed momentum in their (36-34) conquest of Team No Names.
RAVEN & RUNE TAVERN WEDNESDAY 7:30 LEAGUE
The Stones & Cones offense is blazing behind Eric Scolton and Christine Silzle. Everything was falling in both victories over Haggy’s 4 Below Hatchets (48-40) and Ice-o-topes (61-32).
Brandon Rowley and Marty Richau found a way to get the job done for The Flintstones. They had to ride out a pair of barnburners with Sheet Faced (30-28) and Barney’s Hoof Trimming (38-37).
Darren Anderson and Barney’s Hoof Trimming handled Haggy’s 4 Below Hatchets (50-40).
Randall Lord and Hillbilly Sliders dispatched QUEST easily (53-28).
QUEST bounced back against HCH Interiors (31-25) with Tamara Hallquist calling the shots.
Sheet Faced and Joe Rollman didn’t give Curl Jam an inch, (31-22) the final score.
Aili Makuch and Curl Jam rebound nicely versus Hillbilly Sliders (37-34).
Tom Lassen and HCH Interiors held on in a close call with Ice-o-Topes (28-27).
RYAN DEPPAS/LEGEND GROUP FRIDAY 4:30 LEAGUE
2 Curls and a Cup took firm control of the “Happy Hour” League with two victories over Lions and Bears (31-29) and Sweeping Beauties (46-22) as Zach Muntz led the way and kept his team with only one blemish on their season.
Frost Bitten Twice Shy knocked off Cold Beer Here in a high scoring affair (54-50), behind strong play from Buddy Degnan.
Cold Beer Here bounced back in their second game, with a (47-46) barnburner over Lions & Bears, as Steve Tanner kept hammering the house and piling up the points.
Ba Na Ma Na squeaked by Sweeping Beauties (31-30) as the veteran Bud Welker was steady as he went to bring his team to victory.
