Sears Scores Hat Trick To Lift Cardinals Past Eagles
MAYVILLE — Ava Sears scored a hat trick to lift Randolph past Chautauqua Lake 4-1 in nonleague girls soccer action on Friday.
Gianna Bowles scored once and picked up two assists for the Cardinals (14-1-0), while Ella Monroe had one assist. Harper Russell made six saves in the win.
Chautauqua Lake (4-11-0) opened the scoring in the first half with a goal from Karie Tarr assisted by Avery Cannon. Lucy Gates was called upon for 23 saves by the Eagles.
GARIEPY POWERS PORTVILLE
PORTVILLE — Grace Gariepy had two goals and an assist to lead Portville past nonleague Ellicottville 3-0.
Allie Bray also scored a goal and Quinn Scott had an assist for the Panthers (13-2-1). Bella Morales made two saves in the clean sheet.
Ady Andrews made five saves for the Eagles (10-6-0).
OLEAN, SALAMANCA TIE
OLEAN — Olean scored twice in the first half and Salamanca scored twice in the second half en route to a 2-2 nonleague tie.
Arleigh Chudy and Addy Earley scored for the Warriors (6-8-1) while Kendra Bova Redeye made 13 saves.
Courtney Obergfell and Addison Crosson scored for the Huskies (1-13-2) while Audrey Hoffman made five saves.
