Randolph Downs T’Wolves In Class D Football 37-8

RANDOLPH — Jaxson Morrison threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for a pair of scores to lead Randolph past Cattaraugus-Little Valley 31-8 in Class D football Friday.

The Cardinals (5-2, 4-2) led 18-6 at halftime on touchdown runs of 1 and 5 yards from Morrison as well as a 36-yard scoring strike from Morrison to Syrai Johnson.

Ny Boswell scored the lone touchdown for the Timberwolves (1-6, 0-6) on a 13-yard second-quarter run.

In the second half, Morrison completed touchdown throws of 4 yards to Carter Conley and 30 yards to Gavin Larson. Alex Garland also ran for a 1-yard score.

Kevin McElwain led Randolph in rushing with 91 yards and Garland added 53. Defensively, Johnson intercepted a pass.

Dylan Swanson ran for 113 yards and Boswell added 81 on the ground for Cattaraugus-Little Valley.

BLACK KNIGHTS RUN WILD

ALLEGANY — Silver Creek/Forestville piled up 506 total yards of offense, including 373 on the ground, en route to a 47-12 Class D defeat of Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale.

Manny Sanchez led the Black Knights (2-5, 2-4) with 117 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries while Jayvon Sanchez, Gavin DeLong, Caleb Kimmerly and Max Tenamore each added a rushing touchdown.

Will Duliba went 7 of 13 for 130 yards and two touchdowns with Dom Anders catching four passes for 104 yards and both scores.

Aidan Coulter led the Gators (0-7, 0-6) with 15 carries for 68 yards while Nolan Zink ran nine times for 62 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Schultz completed eight passes for 112 yards and a touchdown to go along with an interception. Ryan Callen caught four passes for 74 yards and a score.

GOWANDA/PINE VALLEY FALLS

NEWFANE — Carter Capozzi went 14 of 25 for 235 yards and two touchdowns, but Gowanda/Pine Valley was beaten by Newfane 36-26 in Class D action.

Winter Mentley-Peters ran 23 times for 83 yards and also contributed 13 tackles and an interception defensively.

Lukas Barrett caught two passes for 42 yards and a score, and Trelin Warrior added four catches for 88 yards and a score.

Isaiah Washington was in on nine tackles, including three sacks and a safety. Zane Rogers had 10 tackles while Jayden Fish had three tackles and a fumble recovery for the Panthers (5-2, 4-2).

Mac Capen ran 21 times for 172 yards and a touchdown while Camlo Flowers, Camryn Stover and Rian Czaja also ran for touchdowns for Newfane (7-0, 6-0). Nasir Spencer had three sacks and Dominik Flaherty had two sacks while Dominic Makuch had two interceptions for Newfane, which will play at Wilson (7-0, 6-0) for the league title next week.
