The Opti race team sailed in the Spooky Season Regatta at Rochester Yacht Club on Sunday. The day began with moderate winds that shifted to heavy gusts by midday. Sailors completed three races in the Genesee River, just off the club docks. Felicity Farris finished with a first, second and fourth place. Cecily Colburn finished with two thirds and a second place. Valencia Dugan finished with two fourths and a third place. Races were concluded once wind gusts exceeded 30 knots. This was the final Opti event of the fall, as most Optis have already been packed up in preparation for the coming offseason.
