Chautauqua Lake Tops Silver Creek/Forestville 4-1 In Division III Play

MAYVILLE — Michael Horvath scored twice and Lucas Horvath had three assists as Chautauqua Lake beat Silver Creek/Forestville 4-1 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division III boys soccer Monday evening.
Michael Horvath scored from Lucas Horvath in the 50th minute then scored from Liam Swan in the 58th minute. After Urijah Meredith scored from Lucas Horvath in the 64th minute, Swan scored from Lucas Horvath in the 72nd minute for the Eagles (7-4-0, 2-3-0).
The Black Knights fell to 4-8-0 overall and 1-6-0 in the league.
WARRIORS FALL IN OVERTIME
EDEN — Will Archabald scored with 47 seconds remaining in overtime as Eden beat Salamanca 1-0 in nonleague action.

Cayden Lafferty made several saves, including one on a penalty kick, for the Warriors (1-11-0).
The Raiders improved to 5-7-1 overall.
