The Westside Panthers hosted the Southside Blue Devils for a pair of games last Saturday.

VARSITY

The Panthers notched a 27-14 victory.

Quarterback Grant Langworthy led the team with 159 yards rushing, three touchdowns and a one-point conversion run. Karsen Silliman blocked hard and rumbled for 71 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown run. Keegan Moore ran tough while Paxton Nickerson pitched in at three different positions.

The defense saw Zaadyn Graves turn in an excellent performance, tallying 13 tackles and a fumble recovery. Blake Gonzales had nine tackles, caused a fumble and recovered it. Karsen Silliman wrestled six Blue Devils to the turf. Karter Johnson, Charlie McAdoo and Keegan Moore each had four tackles. Andrew Courson pounced on a fumble as well.

JAYVEE

The Panthers dropped a hard-fought 21-0 decision to the Blue Devils.

Paige Nickerson ran the offense and had 11 carries. Trenton Johnson rambled for 15 yards. Dom Robbins scrambled for 52 yards to lead the offense.

Robbins also spearheaded the defense with six tackles and a sack. Trenton Johnson scooped up a fumble to go with his two tackles. Remy Mon, Braden Whitaker, Cameron Smith and Paige Nickerson had two tackles apiece.
