RANDOLPH — Kevin McElwain ran 15 times for 79 yards and three touchdowns while Jaxon Morrison threw a pair of touchdown passes to Carter Conley as Randolph beat Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale 44-13 in Class D football Friday.

The Cardinals (2-0, 1-0) totaled 200 yards rushing with Alex Garland adding 70 yards and a score to go along with Morrison’s 48 yards. Morrison completed 11 passes for 118 yards with Conley catching six balls for 48 yards. Syrai Johnson caught four passes for 46 yards and Gavin Larson had a 31-yard catch.

Defensively, McElwain and Davion Johnson each intercepted a pass while Reagan Smith was in on nine tackles.

For the Gators (0-2, 0-1), Matt Burnett returned the opening kickoff of the game 77 yards for a touchdown and also ran for a touchdown.
