FREWSBURG — Travis Horvath netted a second-half hat trick as Chautauqua Lake beat Frewsburg 6-1 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division III boys soccer Friday.

Landon D’Anthony scored from Logan Fuller in the 10th minute and from Aden Gollhardt in the 18th minute as the Eagles (3-1-0, 1-0-0) took a 2-0 lead.

After Justin Martin scored from Lucas Randolph to give the Bears (0-3-0, 0-1-0) their first goal of the season in the 22nd minute, Fuller made it 3-1 with a goal from Gollhardt.

After halftime, Horvath scored from Blake Hawkins in the 49th minute, from D’Anthony in the 64th minute and from Lucas Horvath in the 72nd minute.

OSTE HAS BIG NIGHT

ELLERY — Ty Oste scored four times to send Maple Grove to a 5-0 nonleague shutout of Pine Valley/Gowanda.

Oste scored from John Sellstrom and Baker Johnson in the first half before tallying from Aaden Dent and Ezekiel Padd in the second half. Jack Reynolds scored the final goal for the Red Dragons (3-1-0).

The Panthers fell to 0-4-0.
