JAMESTOWN

FALLS TO FRONTIER

HAMBURG — Jamestown hung around with Frontier for most of the first half before ultimately falling 5-0 in nonleague action.

Avery Clouden scored from Madelyn Sealander and Kennedy Amodeo scored from Addison Malcos in the opening 40 minutes for the Falcons (8-0-0).

“We had just four substitutes to start the game and lost another player early due to injury,” Jamestown head coach Jason Kathman said. “Brielle Berg has been dealing with an injury all season long. Kinsley Berg and Amy Knoll are hurt; we have so many kids who are toughing it out and playing a ton of minutes even though they are injured.”

After halftime, Frontier’s Reese Downey scored unassisted, Sealander scored from Clouden and Lily Sullivan scored from McKenzie Gilbride.

Red & Green (0-7-1) goalkeeper JaLeiya Glover “was making great saves even though they had a ton of opportunities,” according to Kathman.

Starting at $3.50/week.
