After Wednesday’s YMCA Battle of the Businesses events, Cummins (Large Division) with 920 points and Trinity Biotech/GCFCU (Small Division) with 755 points are the leaders.
In the Small Division curling event, Jamestown Bar Association/City Court earned first place in the final match against Spectrum Eyecare. Teammates included Peter Larson, Nate Ploetz, John Samuelson and Jeff Shevlin.
Third-place honors were earned by Children’s Educational Services/Rehabilitation Specialists.
At Brewers Hollow, Jason Rupczyk and Joe Paterniti of SKF USA seized the first-place win over Cummins (second place) and Chautauqua County Government (third place).
In the Large Division cornhole competition hosted by the Ruff Baggers at the Gold Star Building in Falconer, Chris Hannon and Melodie Beckerink of Falconer Central Schools bagged the most points followed by Cummins and Frewsburg Central School.

The Battle of the Businesses continues this evening with the trivia contest with Star Sirch Productions at Wicked Warren’s in Jamestown with the Large Division at 5:30 p.m. and the Small Division at 7 p.m. and steel tip darts 301 game at Haggy’s Hatchet House at 6 p.m. for both divisions.
The Charity Challenge bonus event to support the United Way of Chautauqua County is still ongoing through this Friday at noon. Company employees, friends and community member donations can be made at https://fundraise.givesmart.com/vf/battleuwchq or cash donations.
