After Thursday’s YMCA Battle of the Businesses events, Cummins (Large Division) with 1063.50 points and Trinity Biotech/GCFCU (Small Division) with 930 points are the leaders.
In the trivia contest held at Wicked Warren’s-Jamestown and hosted by Star Sirch Productions, SKF USA’s Jamie Carder, Andy Gortz, Ashley Harshaw and Libby Sheldon quizzed the best for the top 100 points in the Large Division. Falconer Central School and Jamestown Macadam, Inc. left with second and third place, respectively.
In the Small Division trivia event, Jamestown Bar Association/City Court captured first place, followed by G.A. Family Services/Family Health Medical Services in second place and Spectrum Eyecare in third place. Jamestown Bar Association/City Court team members included Ciara Donohue, Angel Hurlburt, Anna Kelley and Taylor Phelps.
At Haggy’s Hatchet House steel tip competition in Frewsburg, Sefpro/Monofrax’s Hunter Moffett and Travis Heath took the Large Division win beating UPMC in the last game. SKF USA scored in third place.

The YMCA Battle of the Businesses’ last day events (six of them) will be held at the Hartley Park in Lakewood on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. with the 2-mile run/walk followed by Tom’s Pick (bonus event), hotshot basketball competition, wildcard karaoke, Sur”Y”vor challenge and hydro bike race sponsored by Bemus Bay Water Toys. The United Way Charity Challenge bonus point winners will also be announced.
