Travis Butcher threw a complete game, scattering seven hits while striking out 13 as the Stuart Tool & Die A’s beat the Jock Shop Brewers 7-1.

The victory put the A’s into first place with a week to go in the regular season.

Austin Spicer and Butcher had two hits apiece for the A’s.

Brice Sherrod had two hits for the Brewers while Kyle Mayer took the loss on the mound.
