The Jamestown & Area Oldtimers scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Greenville, 6-5, on Saturday in 50+ baseball at Old Legion Field in North Warren.

Trailing 5-3, Brian Ferry reached on an infield hit with the bases loaded and two outs, and teammate Rick Prindle scored all the way from second when the throw by the first baseman got by the pitcher covering first.

Ferry and Chris Yost had two hits each and Jason Ostram doubled for the winners.

Winnie Woodward started and threw two innings and Ed Baldensperger got the win in relief with five innings of one-run ball.
