WESTFIELD — Lyndy Smith and Brandon Johnston both fired the low round of 38 in the Thursday Night Men’s League at Pinehurst Golf Club.

Jim Ferrell and Joe Majkut tied for the low net score of 33, Rob Gizzi was closest to the pin on No. 13 and Dan Tofil was closest on No. 16.

MAGNOLIA — Sylvia Fiorello shot the low gross score of 36 in Class A of the Wednesday AM Women’s league at Willow Run Golf Course, while Cheryl Johnson had the low net of 24.

The low gross in Class B was Diane Paterniti with 46, while the low net went to Sarah Goebel at 29. Then in Class C, Mary Lou Chimenti had the low gross of 53 and Joyce Brasted had the low net of 33.

Linda Smith birdied No. 6 and had the fewest putts with 13.

LAKEWOOD — Tim Sandberg fired a 34 for low-gross honors in the Youngsville Senior League at Maplehurst Country Club.

Other gross scores were John Blum 37, Wayne Forcier 37 and Jon Steffan 39.

Topping the net scores were Forcier 32, Sandberg 32, Doc Young 32, Gary Chuzie 33, John Meleen 33, Mike Peyton 33, Marty Yucha 33 and Blum 34.

Don Melson recorded an eagle on No. 6; Blum and Sandberg collected three birdies apiece; Forcier and Juan Torres had two birdies each; Neil Himber, Art Ward, Doug Wheeler, Rod Korbar, Peyton, Yucha, Bob Stevens and Ron Davidson all had one birdie; and Torres was closest to the pin on No. 3.
