SINCLAIRVILLE — Fredonia won Mason Redmond’s first game as head coach with a 5-0 nonleague victory over Falconer/Cassadaga Valley.

The Hillbillies (1-0-0) led 2-0 at halftime as Oliver Ritenburg tallied from Matt Cowan before Cowan scored from Mason Tomaszewski.

In the second half, Tomaszewski scored from Ryan Koopman, Koopman scored unassisted, and Tomaszewski scored again from Koopman.

Luka Paoletta made three saves in the clean sheet for Fredonia.

Connor Main made 12 saves for the Golden Cougars (0-1-0).
