The schedule for the Jamestown High School Red & Green Basketball Camps has been announced by head coach Billy Miley.

The Little Ballers Camp, for boys and girls entering grades 1-4, will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. July 7-10.

This camp is an introduction to basketball skills and concepts. Youngsters will be taught the rules of the game and how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, pivot and play defense in a fun atmosphere. Beginning offensive and defensive team play will be introduced, and the camp will be broken down into age/skill levels while utilizing a junior basketball and lowered hoops.

The cost is $75, which includes a T-shirt if registered by today.

The Offensive Skills Camp, for boys entering grades 5-8, will be held from 12:30-3 p.m. July 7-10.

The camp will focus on offensive fundamentals, including drill work and competitive situations. With a concentration on shooting, finishing, ball-handling, footwork and passing, the camp will be broken down by grade/ability level.

Cost of the camp is $75, which includes a T-shirt if registered by today.

For families with multiple attendees, the cost is $75 for the first child and $60 for each additional one.

Both camps will be held at Jefferson Middle School due to construction at JHS.
