RUSSELL, Pa. — Dale Melquist shot a 78 to lead the Asquith Senior Tour during its stop at Blueberry Hill Golf Club.

In the White A Flight, Dave Wordleman shot an 81 and led the Stableford scoring with a plus-5. Henry Johnson was plus-1 and Dave Fiore was minus-3.

In the White B Flight, Bob Lindquist shot a 90. Mike Abbate was plus-8, John Akin was plus-3 and Steve Bialkowski was also plus-3.

Melquist’s 78 led the Gold A Flight. George Meier was plus-8, Jim White was plus-6 and Brian Shannon was plus-2.

Chet Shields shot an 88 to lead the Gold B Flight. Mike Brown was plus-8, Paul Edson was plus-7 and Jud Foy was plus-6.

In the Gold C Flight, Barry Harris shot a 94. Marty Burroughs was plus-10, Russ Vacanti was plus-6 and Dan Molfino was plus-4.

Dan Berry’s 93 and plus-8 led the Gold D Flight. Sal Dicembre and Bob Kaverman were both plus-5 while Ray Head was plus-3.

Henry Johnson was closest to the pin at No. 4 and Pat Hartzell was closest at No. 11.
