Jamestown Skating Club skaters have showcased their talents, bringing home medals after competing in two recent events.

Following are the results from the Spring Fling Invitational at The Pond Ice Rink in Chagrin Falls, Ohio in late April: Nora Petcher, first place in both Intermediate Women’s SP and FS; Madelyn Petcher, first place in Junior Women’s SP and second place Excel Senior Women’s FS; Elise Kartez, third place in Novice Women’s SP and fifth place in Excel Novice Women’s FS; Doreen Mook, second place in Excel Junior Women’s FS; and Clarissa Hren, Excel Intermediate Plus Women’s FS.

Following are the results from the Three Rivers Spring Skate at the Mount Lebanon Recreation Center in Pittsburgh in early May: Madelyn Petcher, first place in Junior Women’s SP; Nora Petcher, first place in Intermediate Women SP and third place in Intermediate Women’s FS; Annalisa Krug, first place in Excel Intermediate Women’s FS; Elise Kartez, fourth place in Novice Women’s SP and seventh place in Excel Novice Women’s FS; Clarissa Hren, fifth place in Excel Intermediate Plus FS; and Ella Dempsey, sixth place in Excel Novice Women’s FS

Jamestown Skating Club registrations are now being accepted for the 2025-26 season.
