More than 500 special athletes are registered to compete in track & field events at Strider Field in Jamestown on Tuesday.

Opening ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m., with the entrance of the Olympic torch as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

In addition, more than 80 area high school students will be volunteering during the event. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and support the special athletes.
