Red & Green Flag Football Has Good Night In Lockport

LOCKPORT — Steve Propheter called it “a good night in Lockport.”

Few could argue with the Jamestown flag football head coach.

Kaylee Leeper rushed for 104 yards and scored touchdowns on runs of 41 and 42 yards to lead the Red & Green to a 26-6 Division 1 victory over the Lions on Friday.

Leeper, who also had two receptions for 13 yards and collected four flag pulls on defense, had help, too.

Marcia McIntyre rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown and completed 8 of 19 passes for 73 yards, including a 20-yard TD pass to Grayson Bloomquist, who made 15 tough yards after the catch for the score.

Meanwhile, Kate Kathman caught five passes for 40 yards (three of her receptions were for 1-point conversions); and Payton Gibbs and Emily Luce had four flag pulls apiece.

Now 4-1 in the division, Jamestown will entertain Kenmore at 5:15 p.m. Monday on Senior Night.

Starting at $3.50/week.
