Fredonia’s Danielle Palisin gave up just two hits and struck out six batters in a complete-game shutout against Southwestern 11-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 softball action on Friday.
Palisin helped her own cause, going 3 for 4 with a couple of runs, Anna Delcamp was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Ava Muck (double) had two hits and Rihanna Benner was 2 for 3 with a double for Fredonia (10-3, 8-0).
Arianna Silakowski struck out eight batters in the circle for Southwestern (4-5, 4-4), while Lexie Beckerink and Siri DuBois hit singles.

RED & GREEN
Emma Edwards struck out five batters and gave up just two hits as Olean shut out Jamestown 6-0 in Division 1.
Riley Sudbrook had three singles and three runs for the Huskies, while Allison Anastasia doubled.
Raegan Powers had a pair of singles for Jamestown, while Kaylee Keppel was the losing pitcher.
