Gullo threw the first two innings, striking out two, and left with a 15-0 lead. Kinney worked a clean fourth inning before Helmer worked the fifth, allowing a run to score on an error after a walk.
In a four-run Fredonia first inning, Putney led off with a triple and Gullo hit an RBI fielder’s choice before Andrew Cowan was hit by the 27th pitch of his career, tying the Section VI record.
