Falconer Sweeps Cassadaga Valley In Volleyball
SINCLAIRVILLE — Hannah Melquist dished out 26 assists to go along with four kills and three aces as Falconer swept Cassadaga Valley 25-14, 25-9, 25-15 in nonleague girls volleyball Friday.
Emily Zaranek had 10 kills, a block and three digs; Mylie Zaranek had eight kills and seven digs; Nazariah Neal had two kills, three digs and five aces; and Augustine Krenzer had five kills, a block, four digs and seven aces for the Golden Falcons (11-2, 5-2 CCAA D1).
Payton Meder had four kills and a block; Emiley Anderson had four kills and two blocks; and Hailey Anderson had 11 digs for the Cougars (6-7, 5-2 CCAA D4).

FOR PANTHERS
PANAMA — Contributions from throughout the lineup helped Panama sweep Sherman 25-12, 25-11, 25-13 in nonleague action.
Kaitlyn Horton had 12 kills, five blocks, five digs and 10 service points; Emma Cooper had seven kills, four digs and 11 service points, including two aces; Marley Kelwaski had 12 digs and 20 service points, including a pair of aces; Lilly Hyde had five kills and six digs; Kiera Loberg had five kills, 23 assists, five digs and two aces; and Mckenna Kolstee had four kills for the Panthers (9-4, 5-2 CCAA D3).
Kelsey Wagner had four kills and three digs; Madison Emory had eight digs and an ace; and Kenadi Long had five assists, two blocks and a dig for the Wildcats (6-6, 3-4).
Sherman won the jayvee match.
PIRATES SWEEP MAPLE GROVE
CLYMER — Ava Nyweide had seven kills, three blocks, four digs and two aces to lift Clymer past Maple Grove 25-19, 25-18, 25-17 in nonleague play.
Janelle Burchanowski had two kills, 12 assists, four digs and four aces; Harleigh Faulkner had three kills, two blocks, two digs and seven aces; and Lily Johnson had three kills, a block, six digs and four aces for the Pirates (9-3, 7-0 CCAA D4).
Mady Haglund had 18 assists and eight digs; Bry Cornell had nine kills, a block, eight digs and three aces; Zoey Foley had nine digs; and Cambria Fiorella had five kills for the Red Dragons (2-10, 0-7 CCAA D3).
Maple Grove won the jayvee match.
