Cresanti Nets Hat Trick As Southwestern Blanks Fredonia 7-0

FREDONIA -- Southwestern scored four goals in the first half and three more in the second half to beat Fredonia 7-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 girls soccer Monday at SUNY Fredonia.

Marlana Cresanti led the way with a hat trick for the Trojans (4-2-0, 2-1-0). Kaylyn Carnes added two goals and an assist, while Avery Johnson had a goal and two assists. Lucy Brown had a goal and an assist; Emma Malmstrom-Jouannet had two assists and Kenzie Rogers had an assist. Braya Beaver made four saves in net en route to the clean sheet for Southwestern.

The Hillbillies fell to 4-4-0 overall and 2-1-0 in the league.
