Rotary Hosts 29th Annual Charity Golf Classic
The Rotary Club of Jamestown held its 29th annual Charity Golf Classic at Moon Brook Country Club in what started as a beautiful day and ended in thunder, lightning and lots of rain.
The final results included Rotarian and event chairman Max Eimiller winning the low-Rotarian trophy for the second year in a row with a net 77.
The scramble foursome of Steve Wintersteen, Brandon Walker, Mike Lawhead and Dewey Jones won with a 52.8, and the two-best-ball-of-four category was won by Jon Gren, Phil Cala, Kurt Johnson and Mike Martinelli with a 129.
Randy Ordines claimed the putting contest, sinking a putt of 29 feet, 5 inches.
Scramble: Steve Wintersteen, Brandon Walker, Mike Lawhead and Dewey Jones, 52.8, first place; Mike Allen, Dave Bleck, Mark Dean and Shannon Davis, 53.2, second place; and Kar Hanson, Scott Olson, Mike Toter and Ross Fargo, 55.2, third place.
Two Best Ball of Four: Jon Gren, Phil Cala, Kurt Johnson and Mike Martinelli, 129, first place; Adam Mason, Nick Bell, Chris Pappalardo and Tommy Tantillo, 131, second place; and Justin Murray, John Fisk, Shane Swan and Tod Sidon, 132, third place.
Closest to the Pin: Adam Mason (No. 4), Sue Marsh (No. 4); and Dan Overcash (No. 13).
Longest Drive: Dave Bleck (No. 10) and Deb Brunner (No. 18).
Low Net Rotarian: Max Eimiller, 77.
