Falconer beat Dunkirk 8-4 at LaGrega Field in Lakewood and Fredonia topped Gowanda 13-9 at Gravit Field in Mayville in District 38 Little League 8-10 Non-Sanctioned Tournament semifinals Tuesday. For Falconer, Noah Nelson, Lucas Arrance, Jayce Stewart and Owen Dickerson combined for a four-hitter on the mound, while Andrew Youngberg, Dominic Rizzo and Aiden Rhinehart each had a pair of hits. For Fredonia, Rocco Bongiovanni led the way with three hits, including a double. Carter Long, Bruno Muscarella and Tristan Darr (double) each had two hits, and Dominic Carapella added a double. Bongiovanni, Muscarella and Carapella worked on the mound for Fredonia.
