In the child A Division at level 4, Evelyn earned the first-place gold medal on beam with a 9.65, grabbed a third-place bronze medal on vault with an 8.7, a 9.075 on floor for ninth place, and a 36.175 in the all-around for sixth place in the state.

Xcel Diamond Elayna Pitts grabbed a third-place bronze medal on bars (9.15) and finished seventh in all-around (35.75).

Xcel Platinum Kennedy Lynn earned a third-place bronze medal on floor (9.15) and 10th in all-around (35.5).

At Level 5, Kamille Garza was awarded a third-place bronze medal on bars (9.15) and ninth on beam (9.0). Madilyn Gordon grabbed a third-place bronze medal on bars (9.1).

At Level 4, Avery Armella grabbed four medals. She was seventh on vault (8.5), fourth on bars (9.275), eighth on floor (9.075) and eighth in all-around (35.45). Claire Thompson earned ninth place on bars (9.05), fifth on beam (9.55) and 10th in all-around (36.00).

Senior Emily Chapman competed in the last state meet of her gymnastics career. She was awarded a senior plaque at her state meet for her commitment and dedication to the sport of gymnastics.

Emily is a gymnastics coach at Flyers and will be attending Jamestown Community College after graduation to pursue a degree in early childhood education. Chapman is the Flyers’ 15th competitive gymnast to dedicate herself and make it to her senior year.
