Randolph Boys, Girls Sweep Frewsburg In Track

FREWSBURG — The Randolph track & field program swept a pair of meets Tuesday, with the boys downing Frewsburg 83-54 and the girls trimming Frewsburg 80-60.

In the boys meet, Calon Rowland captured the 100 meters, the 400 meters and the long jump, while Roan Kelly claimed the 800 meters, the 1,600 meters and the 3,200 meters.

The Cardinals are now 1-1 overall and 1-0 in the league, while the Bears are now 0-2, 0-1.

GIRLS

MAYVILLE — Brynn Helms, Mary Lundmark, Hannah Madonia and Autumn Lynn were all double-winners as Falconer/Cassadaga Valley topped Chautauqua Lake 87-54 on Tuesday.

Helms captured the 100-meter hurdles (18.7) and triple jump (31-1.5); Lundmark claimed the 100 meters (13.6) and pole vault (8-0); Madonia took the 400-meter hurdles (1:11.6) and long jump (14-8); and Lynn won the shot put (28-10) and discus (82-11) for the Golden Cougars.

Meredith Lendt took the 1,500 meters (5:53) and 800 meters (2:49.8), while Jada Cole won the 200 meters (27.1) and high jump (5-0) for the Eagles.

Ethan Verbosky was a double individual winner for the Dragons claiming the 1,600 meters and the 800 meters; Jonah Foley was a triple-winner in the long jump, triple jump and high jump; and Rider Carlson was a double-winner in the 100 meters and the 200 meters.

Michaelynn Lecceardone claimed the triple jump and high jump, while Jamila Nelthrope took the 100 meters and pole vault for the Warriors.

The Panthers’ Aryanna Hatch took the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
