LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood YMCA Spring Tennis Open was held last week.
Thursday afternoon’s action started with Rising Stars Junior Singles.
The top four seeds out of the round-robin play were Elias Harper, Tyler Hatfield, Andy Dollard and Bentley Huber.
In the semifinals, Harper defeated Huber 3-0 and Dollard bested Hatfield 3-2.
Harper claimed the championship by edging Dollard 3-0.

The High School Boys Singles followed.
In the quarterfinals, Carson Moore beat Jacki Lei 6-4, 6-3; Lucas Thrift beat Chase Haaksma 6-4, 1-6, 10-6; and Charbel Moubarak beat Finn Johnson 6-0, 6-0.
In the semifinals, Brayden Haaksma beat Moore 6-0, 6-0 and Moubarak beat Thrift 6-0, 6-0.
Brayden Haaksma defeated Moubarak 7-6 (6) and 6-1 for the title.
Four girls competed in the High School Girls Singles bracket.

In the semifinals, Enisa Siljkovic beat Grace Kutschke 6-2, 6-0 and Myla Brainard beat Grace Carr 7-5, 7-5.
Siljkovic beat Brainard 6-1, 6-0 for the title.
The High School Coed Doubles wrapped up competition.
Chase Haaksma and Nolan Lefler beat Kutschke and Erika Pickard 2-6, 6-3, 11-9, while Brayden Haaksma and Alex Watkins topped Mary Gerace and Alannah Garza 6-2, 6-4 in the semifinals.
In the final, Brayden Haaksma and Watkins topped Chase Haaksma and Lefler 6-0, 6-4.
