Jamestown Girls Fall At Clarence
CLARENCE — A pair of Clarence seniors were too much for Jamestown on Tuesday night.
Emily Glaude poured in 36 points, including eight 3-pointers, and Ella Corry added 28 points to pace the third-seeded Red Devils to a 91-37 victory over the 14th-seeded Red & Green in a Section VI Class AA prequarterfinal girls basketball game..
The win moves Clarence into the quarterfinals with a 17-4 record, while Jamestown concludes its season 4-15.
The Red Devils led 13-4 after the first quarter, but outscored the Red & Green 32-12 in the second period to put the game out of reach.
Anna Engquist led Jamestown with 13 points to go along with six rebounds, while Alyson Canfield contributed 11 points and six steals.
