The Jamestown Jackals held a scrimmage Tuesday night in preparation for their season opener in The Basketball League early next month. Seventeen players from St. Croix, Virgin Islands to Toronto, Ontario and points in between squared off at McElrath Gymnasium as team staff looked to trim the roster down in anticipation of the Jackals’ home opener on March 3 against the TriState Admirals at the Physical Education Complex on the campus of Jamestown Community College. Members of the training camp roster are Brent Price, Wheeling, West Virginia; Stephon Auguste, St. Croix, Virgin Islands; Elijah Lostracco, Toronto, Ontario; Clavontae Brown, Flint, Michigan; Derrick Colter, Mingo Junction, Ohio; Timothy Square, Cleveland; David Jasson, Chicago; Lorenzo Collier, Detroit; Troy Baker, Maize, Kansas; Dominic Guthre, Dexter, Michigan; David Miakanda, St. Catharines, Ontario; BJ Williams IV, Youngstown, Ohio; Diondre Madison, Greensboro, North Carolina; Joshua Dominguez, Charlotte, North Carolina; Jarius Shumpert, Flint, Michigan; Mark Westbrook Jr., Syracuse; and George Graham, Rochester.
